Too much wine over the weekend but a real highlight was a Foillard Morgon “Côte de Py” 2007 in Geneva (at Le Rouge et le Blanc): a little volatile on the nose but very expressive, crisp and refreshing. The volatility of the nose actually makes it extremely flavoursome. Really great:

Just couldn’t bring myself to drink a Müller-Thurgau from Switzerland (even if it came from what must be the most beautiful wine region in the World, at Epesses).
I was served two slightly faulty wines over the weekend as well. I wore each, not having the Italian to convince the proprietaires that they were faulty.
