Henri Delagrange
Henri Delagrange Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chênes 2005 Lifted aromatics — maybe a little too volatile — of rose, coffee, cranberry juice. The nose seems to suggest it is developing even if the descriptors don’t. The palate is full bodied, long, the tannins fine, intense but not bitter. Some elements of 2005 to be enjoyed but not worth the premium the vintage commands.
