An ordinary weekend for wine
Egly-Ouriet Vieillissement Prolongé (aged 61 months on lees, disgorged June 2006) disappointing, closed and not giving anything at all. I’ve had sensational bottles of this but this bottle wasn’t one.
Lindemans Pyrus 1996 (mag) At a good point right now, but a lot of lumber in there. Good weight though.
Rockford Basket Press 2002 Slightly oxidised, dodgy cork.
So, not a great weekend!
